How does the Like/Dislike work on news articles

News feeds and likes and dislikes

Any user can like and dislike an article. This doesn't reflect on what is shown in your feeds. This also is not tracked by any other site and is only used to show users what is popular and what isn't.

Unauthorized users can like/dislike any article and it will be reflected by their IP address. Each article can be liked or disliked once per user and users may cancel their selection by selecting the currently selected like or dislike button.
